Binge Eating Disorder and Acceptance

Recently, by way of an interview, I participated in a news segment on Binge Eating Disorder for 100 Huntley Street, which is a popular Christian TV show here in Canada. The focus of the interview for me was on my personal struggle with BED rather than what I do as a Life Coach or even in my religious or spiritual beliefs. Everyday Grace

As a person who has an active spiritual practice, this piece of prose from spiritual teacher Marianne Williamson really resonated with me, and I wanted to share it with you. (Note: I fully accept that not everyone has a spiritual or religious path, and it is not a requirement for coaching)

The crux of this message is liberation from fear, which can benefit us all profoundly as we learn to stand up in our lives while encouraging others to do the same. What do you think?

What is a life coach?

Typically we think of coach as someone, like a sports coach from high school, who instructs, directs and motivates us to achieve a specific goal.
